Different basement depths and exterior conditions call for different well designs. Here are three ways to approach the finished exterior while keeping the egress system functional.
The mill-finish steel well. Corrugated, code-sized, and built to do the job without dressing it up.
The New Denali. Interior-designer approved, rust-proof composite fiberglass, in Pantone Warm Gray.
A landscape-friendly finish that makes the window well feel more like part of the home's exterior rather than a utility feature.
This is the window in every Scaldino package. It turns inward like a door for a full emergency exit, tilts for ventilation, and locks closed. Steel-reinforced uPVC frame with a fixed full screen.
The mill-finish corrugated well. It is the straightforward steel companion to the Tilt & Turn window: galvanized, sized around the opening, and ready for a cover and ladder when the well is deep enough.
Wells should have 2"–3" on each side of the window. The top of the areawall should sit at least 2" above finished grade and at least 12" below the sill. A ladder is required when the well is taller than 44".
The New Denali is what homeowners ask for when they want the well to look finished from inside the room. Rockwell designed it with interior designers: modern ribs, Pantone Warm Gray, composite fiberglass that cannot rust.

Rockwell calls it the nature-inspired window well. From inside the basement you see landscape, not corrugated steel. True Texture™ mimics stone. Built-in steps are the way out. One-piece rigid composite shrugs off water, frost, UV, rust, and rot.

The Tilt & Turn window does not change. Drainage, excavation, and code path stay EcoSpect's. The well is the finish you live with - from the yard and from the room.
Safe-T-View covers for Essential wells. Polycarbonate covers for Denali and Rockwell - sunlight in, debris out, rated to 500 lbs on the Rockwell frame.
