Void Formation Beneath Concrete Slab

Voids form beneath concrete slabs when water erodes soil, tree roots decay, or improperly compacted fill settles years after installation. A slab spanning a void loses support across that section and begins cracking under load, eventually risking sudden collapse. Detecting and filling voids before full failure prevents expensive slab replacement. Polyurethane foam injection reaches voids through small drilled ports, expanding to fill the cavity completely and bonding to the slab underside to restore full bearing capacity.
