How long does underpinning take on a typical NJ home?

A twenty to thirty-foot section of mass-concrete underpinning typically takes three to five weeks, inclusive of the required cure time between alternating pin sections. Full-perimeter underpinning performed in conjunction with a digout runs eight to twelve weeks.

Helical pier underpinning is faster; a modest section of piers can often be installed within three to five working days, although engineering and permit lead time must still be accounted for separately.
