Will leveling affect the pool coping or waterline tile?

Properly executed pool deck leveling lifts only the deck slab and not the pool shell or coping. Injection ports are placed in the deck field away from the coping joint. If coping has separated from the deck due to settlement, re-grouting or caulking the coping joint is done after leveling as a separate step.
