How large are the holes drilled for mudjacking?

Mudjacking requires drill holes 1.5 to 2 inches in diameter, significantly larger than the 5/8-inch holes used for polyurethane foam injection. The holes are patched with cement mortar after injection and are visible as circular patches in the slab surface. For decorative or finished concrete surfaces the larger patch points may be a cosmetic consideration.
