How long does a basement floor lowering project take?

A full-home digout in New Jersey typically runs eight to fourteen weeks from the start of excavation to final slab cure, depending on square footage, soil conditions, and whether underpinning is installed in alternating pin sections or continuously.

Benching projects are faster, generally four to six weeks. Permitting and structural engineering add another four to eight weeks of lead time before site work begins. The home remains occupiable through most phases of the project.
