Do I have to move out of my home during a basement digout?

Most NJ homeowners stay in the home during a digout. The excavation and concrete work is isolated to the basement, and we seal the stairwell with a temporary dust barrier and negative-air containment to keep debris out of the living space.

Short relocation windows of 2 to 3 days are sometimes recommended during heavy jackhammering or when utilities like the main stack or water service are temporarily disconnected.

Scaldino Basement Solutions handles this across New Jersey. Contact us for a free on-site assessment.
