Do I have to move out of my home during a basement digout?

Most New Jersey homeowners remain in the home throughout a digout. The excavation and concrete work is isolated to the basement, and we seal the stairwell with a temporary dust barrier and negative-air containment to prevent debris migration into the living space.

Short relocation windows of two to three days are occasionally recommended during heavy jackhammering or when utilities such as the main plumbing stack or water service must be temporarily disconnected.

Scaldino Basement Solutions performs this work throughout New Jersey. Contact us for a complimentary on-site assessment.
