A high water table does not disqualify a basement digout, but it changes the system design. Where groundwater is within a few feet of the proposed new slab elevation, we install a dual sump system, a full sub-slab drainage mat, and a reinforced vapor barrier before pouring.

Low-lying NJ towns near the Passaic, Raritan, and Hackensack basins frequently need this configuration. A geotechnical soil report is required before committing to scope.
