How long does a typical carbon fiber installation take from start to finish?

A standard single-wall carbon fiber installation on an eight-foot basement wall requiring six to eight straps is typically completed within one working day. That scope includes surface grinding, epoxy application, strap placement, and anchor set. Full-perimeter installations on larger homes generally require two to three working days.

The structural epoxy requires an additional twenty-four to seventy-two hours to cure before the wall can be backfilled, finished, or furred out. We do not accelerate cure schedules in cold New Jersey basements because bond strength is temperature-dependent.
